"From left to right: The tree cedar is used in industry for houses and furniture. It is a fine wood. The Itininga plant is an air plant sometimes used in traditional medicine. Capirona tree, a tall tree, is also used in industry for parkets and traditional medicine too. A palm tree called in Peru "pifayo" has fruit that is food for people and it is used in shamanism. The lily of the Amazon is an air plant used as medicine for stomach ache and cramps. The Ayahuasca vine. The big rats feed on little birds, worms and fish. They live in decayed trees. They walk in flocks." |
