"From left to right: The Pitayo Palm, and the Initipina (an air plant). Initipina comes from language Quechua. It means "pineapple of the sun." Jungle people use it as an ornament. Two birds called cardenal gris. They live in the high jungle; they feed on insects and now they are becoming extinct." |
