Artists: Edwin Miguel Guerra
Edwin was born in Reguena, in the Loreto province.
When he was six months old his parents moved to Pucallpa where he went to school. At age 14 he was an assistant to a painter painting houses. At 15 he spent one year in Utiquinia, a little jungle settlement, where he was able to observe Amazonian flora and fauna. In 1989 he entered the Usko Ayar school is now one of the student teachers. He participated with several paintings in an exhibition entitled "Disasters" at he International Museum of Children's Art in Oslo Norway, and in an exhibition in 1995 at the Children's Museum in Washington, D.C.
