Artist's comments |
"In this painting we see a very close view of the Amazon rainforest. From the left to the right in the second level we see trees like Ubos that are used to make furniture; at the middle the Lupuna tree and the Caoba or Mahogani also used for its beautiful wood to make furniture. To the left there is the Estrella Huasca near the Ubos tree; in the middle it is the Tamshi near the Lupuna that is a liana used to build houses and in medicine for the hair. On the earth we see in the first level, the appetite for generation in turtles; because it is important to save the rainforest, now a days this kind of animals are hunted by people for its meal." |
