Artist's comments |
"To the left side we see a white Lupuna. Lupunas grow in two families, one white and the other red. Both similar in appearance and in size although inhabited and directed by different mothers and possessed by different souls. Close to the Lupuna there is a tree called Aya-huma - means dead-head. It has hanging fruit. Then we see a plant with violet flowers called Ajo-sacha (wild garlic). To the right side there is a tree called Cedro and Ubos. There is a vine with the pink flowers we call here Ayahuasca (Vine for the Dead). In the first level there are two birds called Shicua. The Shicua loves to live where is growing the Ayahuasca vine." |
