Elvis Luna:
Thinking About the Rainforest Life
|
Artist's comments |
"The special subject of this landscape is how the waterfalls are the most important way of life in the plant's habitat. In the background we can see when the sun gives us the light for being able to live: men and nature together. Besides the first, second and other waterfalls (some small and other big ones) without forgetting about many kinds of different trees and bushes. In the middle and first place of the painting there are some recognized plants and birds. They are: a. Birds: six white herons, two pangiles; b. Plants: Situlle plant with red flowers, two minor Ceticos at the left hand behind the ten red and big sorbo flowers. We also see another colors of flowers and air plants; c. Palm: Yarina palm; it is on the Pangiles' top. I think there is hard work for protecting and conserving our rainforest. It is time to make a good work together for them." |
