Artist's comments |
"In this painting we can see to the left side the Remo Caspi tree. This tree is used for the people that are living in the jungle for making their wooden spoons for them to eat their food. Then you can see the Ayahuasca vine. The ayahuasca vine is an important medicine used by the shamans. They use this vine for discovering the badness or sickness of the people for them to know how to heal these people. Next is a plant called Shapaja and a Pumakiro tree. It has a brown bark and it is a strong wood used for building houses." |
