"From left to right: A Quinilla tree ... it is very high and used in the lumber industry, utilized for flooring and other things. The white Patiquina is a medicinal plant here that is used in baths and also against the witchcraft and bad spirits. The Cetico tree (cecropia) is used to make paper and also in the traditional medicine using its bark and leaves. Two tangara birds known here as "Victor Diaz" live in couples and they feed on worms." |
