    "As with the larger portion of paintings and serigraphs executed during the 1980s, 'You My Sweet' was composed largely through the influences derive from the Yunnan school. The ideas of the artist during this period explore the techniques of the movement and often evolved through the exploration of themes involving tribal art in primitive and indigenous cultures."
